"Floating island" is a French restaurant designed by C + architects for Lanba Earth Art Festival. It is located in Xiannv mountain, Wulong District, Chongqing. 靠近道路一側(cè)的空間是等候、休閑區(qū)域，由于高差的原因，從外面看進(jìn)去，猶如一個(gè)布景舞臺(tái)，身處餐廳室內(nèi)的客人與路過的行人分別承擔(dān)了演出者和欣賞者的角色，并由此產(chǎn)生出有趣的視覺互動(dòng)。

懸挑出7米的用餐區(qū)，是一個(gè)角落無柱、三面玻璃幕墻圍合而成的純凈空間，遠(yuǎn)處如水墨畫一樣的連續(xù)水平風(fēng)景一覽無余。當(dāng)山中起霧時(shí)，建筑與自然之間的界限逐漸消隱，可以為置身云中的就餐者帶來特別的感受。

The 7-meter dining area is a pure space surrounded by three glass curtain walls and no columns in the corner. You can have a panoramic view of the continuous horizontal landscape like ink painting in the distance. When the fog rises in the mountains, the boundary between architecture and nature gradually disappears, which can bring special feelings to diners in the clouds.
